For we are God’s co-workers; you are God’s field, ed God’s building.

Thought for the Day: There are all sorts of partnerships in life: business partnerships, decease marriages, try agreements made with a handshake. Partnerships help us accomplish tasks that would be too difficult on our own, from managing a business to reaching a too-high top shelf to grab the rice. Partners make our lives easier, and hopefully we return the favor. That’s what a partnership is about, after all—working together.

God is our partner for life. God works with us through all the ups and downs of our lives, motivating us, inspiring us, subtly guiding us. God is also our partner for life. God fills our lives with opportunities to serve each other, and to serve God. We are all God’s field, always being watered and nurtured, so that we grow spiritually mature, able to let the work of God shine through all the different jobs of our lives.

Prayer: May I be a faithful partner to your endless and creative nature, God who is always with me.  Amen.
